Pastor Matt has served as the Senior Pastor of Indian Springs Baptist Church since early 2021. Before stepping into this role, he served for several years as the Pastor of Leadership and Teaching at ISBC. Over the years, Matt has also ministered as a co-pastor, young adult pastor, and student pastor in various churches across Arkansas and Texas.

He holds a Bachelor of Science from Central Baptist College, a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and will complete his Doctor of Ministry degree from Liberty University by the end of 2025

Prior to entering full-time ministry, Matt served two year-long deployments to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Matt has been married to his wife, Aubri since February 14, 2009. They have two kids Trent (11) and Emily Ann (9). As a family they love traveling, sports, amusement parks and spending time with family and friends.

Matt felt called to ministry as a teenager and deeply loves serving in the church today. His ministry objective is to lead the church in producing fully devoted followers of Christ who are equipping others to grow spiritually, are established in Biblical community, and engaged in gospel mission.
